An egg lies waiting in the snow while a giant clock tics. Under the watchfull gaze of a great bird, a mother helps her child take it's first steps in the desert landscape of New mexico.
This existential poem, in which a mother releases her child into the world, holds a universal metaphor for the beginning of life and the passing of time.
